The concept of 'Crowded. Followed.' had me hooked from the beginning - I could be wrong but I'm surprised that no-one has attempted an 'It Follows' type of gameplay mechanic, so I can understand why there has been so much fanfare for this. Well done on the execution.
Although short and succinct, there is palpable terror and fear throughout the runtime, with the creature continuing to pursue you that made me hold my breath in the subway. The audio cue that accompanies the creature when it's behind you has you paralysed with fear throughout. Accompanied with the frustrating element of people getting in the way, this really had me almost yelling at the screen in order to scavenge the right amount of money to escape.
Although the story elements are pretty threadbare, this definitely had me wanting to know more. The Pulp Fiction-esque mystery element with the briefcase, why this creature is continually dogging you, I'm invested in finding out more and where this story goes.
Hopefully the full game won't be the same mechanic throughout - I think you've got a really interesting concept and with the collection of money there could be scope for upgrades/ways to fight the creature etc. Looking forward to discovering more from you.
another nice vid, rheia :)
i have an idea for a video that you might be interested in but i see no way to chat about it with you on your profile or YT channel. if you are interested, check mine and get in touch?
otherwise, keep rockin’ and digging your choice of games like this :)
Loved the music and how your stamina needs to be used wisely as it doesn't replenish at the rate it needs to. The creepy music and everyone in your way pushes the level of horror up, good job mate :)
I loved this game! Takes a concept that most people don't use for core gameplay and runs with it! Story is intriguing, stamina is generous and the anxiety was real when you were trapped with the creature. I also like the idea of you having the option to get more funds before you leave for later progression. Really hoping for some expansion and a full fledged story on this one, had a blast. Great work!
Why did he go to the gunshot? Who is the mysterious figure? What's in the case? Is it the case from Pulp Fiction? Seriously, stamina regens way too slow and your running speed is barely faster than walking. This didn't generate anxiety, but it was annoying. A few fixes and some more insight as to what's going on and you got a decent game.
Was nice and creepy just how I like it! I enjoy that your stamina took a good while to recover making you HVE to conserve it instead of an immediate fill =P keep up the amazing work and cannot wait to see where this leads!
Игра понравилась есть плюсы как и минусы Начнем с плюсов: в этой игре есть иван золо ну и всё Минусы: Игра ни как не настраивается то есть она квадратная(разрешение экрана)
I liked the game there are pros as well as cons Let's start with the pros: this game has Ivan Zolo, well, that's it Cons: The game is not configurable in any way, that is, it is square (screen resolution)
This game is portrayed simplistically but the gameplay's concept is really neat and I'd be down to see this expanded upon further. Managing limited resources, spatial awareness and a never-ending threat can be a lot more impactful over most games relying on scripted sequences and obnoxious jumpscares. The game-over screen is a bit cheesy but it has charm and since the game isn't overwhelmed with that type of scare, I give it a pass.
Hey man thank you very much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback, I agree I am also not happy with the jumpscare/death but needed something simple for now, I will work on this. I'm glad you'd like to play more and I hope I can make a full game out of this concept. Would love to hear your feedback on future builds, all the best!

I really don't like the feeling of being followed, and this game creates that feeling very well

What a fun game! Once I got a sense of what what going on it did make it easier. Great job at building up the anxiety.
