I first played this the year it came out and this by far was the best horror thing I've played from itch.io and I play a lot during spoopy season. I love horror games but they just don't give me a good spook anymore but this was different. Spoopy + anxious. It was so good that when I did my spoopy games fest in 2024, I couldn't stop comparing others to this 😭 Lived in my head rent free like that. I'm interested in checking out the 2024 demo but what's changed?
The 2024 demo is fairly similar to the original 2023 one to be honest! Although the full game will be on sale during ScreamFest if you wanted to check it out then :)

WOW I had no idea there was a demo for this I just got done playing the FULL game on steam! Gotta say this was amazing, You guys did an excellent job making me feel alone in a crowd of people! Did you guys take inspiration from the movie "IT FOLLOWS"? Definitely see a lot of DNA from that in here lol. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next, excellent horror game!

Hey mann, appreciate you playing the demo and the feedback :) I hope that the tension built through the environment and crowds can still be effective if you do try the newer version of the game, either way I'll keep this in mind and see what other's think 👍
The game will be great no matter what the monster looks like (considering it's a shape shifter and all) and I still love the premise and atmosphere. I will absolutely play the new demo and full game once it launches so no worries there.
I made a discussion about the monster design where I go into more details on the Steam Discussion forums for the game. I invited others to talk about their feelings of the old vs new design and linked to this demo, but so far no other comments yet. I did see about 2-3 comments on Alpha Beta Gamer's new demo video that were talking about liking the old monster design better and they had about 6 upvotes each. I'm eager to see what others have to say about it as well.

This game built tension really well and got me to lock in on the gameplay! looking forward to trying the ne demo soon!
You should change the monster back to the suit guy. The new generic 'scary gown The Ring woman' isn't nearly as intimidating.
